When I was a young church planter, I tried hard to be like the “great leaders” I read about.

Church planting is the inevitable result of Christ’s birth. It should always remind us of people that need saving and churches that need planting.

Illness, pain and physical frailty are around the corner. But in Jesus we have eternal life and eternal joy.

Only church planters get the privilege of lighting a candle in heaven.

Why go through the valley of the shadow of death when I can just fly above it or sidestep around it?

The truth is that we manufacture idols all the time when we elevate anything above God in our lives.
